Former Congress leader accuses Bijapur MLA of corruption, complains to collector

Bijapur News: Former Congress leader Ajay Singh, who was the Congress District President of Bijapur district, has once again opened a front against the Vice President of Bastar Development Authority and Bijapur MLA Vikram Shah Mandavi. He has been accused of corruption worth lakhs of rupees. Former Congress leader Ajay Singh has taken a press conference and accused the Tribal Department of releasing about Rs 1 crore 39 lakh along with providing work to an ineligible person in the ongoing construction and repair work of Devguri in the district. In this, the MLA has also been accused of embezzling 10% commission. Ajay Singh has also presented the documents related to Devguri construction work in the district in front of the media.

In fact, on Sunday (July 09) in Jagdalpur, former Congress leader Ajay Singh accused the MLA of Bijapur and said that MLA Vikram Shah Mandavi has done corruption in the construction of Devguri in every village of the district under a well thought out strategy. He told that the MLA got the work of construction and repair of Devguri in Bijapur district to an ineligible person by making the Assistant Commissioner of Tribal Development Department an agency. For this, the work order was issued on June 13. The amount was demanded on 14th June and the ineligible contractor was also paid by the department on 15th June.

Accused of getting work done to ineligible contractor
An amount of about 1 crore 39 lakh 65 thousand rupees was released. If former Congress leader Ajay Singh is to be believed, the Bijapur MLA has stolen 10% commission for this work. He told that Dev Gudi construction work and repair work could have been continued in all panchayats, but under a well-thought-out strategy, the MLA got the work done to an ineligible contractor and also got the entire money withdrawn. Ajay Singh told that he has complained about this to the collector of Bijapur and demanded a tax investigation in the city police station.

At the same time, he has also told the commissioner of Bastar to complain about this, and if there is no investigation and action in this matter, he has said to knock on the door of the court. Significantly, this is not the first time that Bijapur MLA Vikram Shah Mandavi is on the target of Ajay Singh. Even before this, Ajay Singh has accused the Bijapur MLA of internal politics and alleged corruption.

Vikram Mandavi told that he has been expelled from the Congress because of Ajay Singh’s anti-party work, due to which he is angry, so he is making allegation.
