First look out of Varun Dhawan-Jhanvi Kapoor’s ‘Bawal’, the film will be released on this OTT platform

Bawaal First Look Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor are in the lead roles in ‘Dangal’ fame director Nitesh Tiwari’s film ‘Bawal’. The first poster of this film was released on Monday. Along with this, it was also told that this film will not be released in the theater but directly on the OTT platform.

While releasing the poster of the film, Jahnavi said that the film will be released on Amazon Prime Video in July. In this poster, Varun and Jahnavi are seen laughing lovingly while looking at each other. In this poster, Jahnavi is seen in an ethnic look with traditional earrings, while Varun is wearing a blue shirt and gray jacket.

Sajid Nadiadwala is producing this film. This pair of Nitesh and Sajid had earlier made the film ‘Chhichhore’, in which Sushant Singh Rajput and Shraddha Kapoor were in the lead roles. This film also received the National Award.

Jhanvi’s third OTT release

Before this, two films of Jhanvi have been released directly on the OTT platform. ‘Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl’ was released on Netflix in the year 2020 and ‘Good Luck Jerry’ on Disney + Hotstar in 2022. Apart from this, Zoya Akhtar’s short film ‘Ghost Stories’ was also released on Netflix in 2020.

Varun’s second OTT release

Bawal will be Varun Dhawan’s second film to be released directly on OTT. Earlier in the year 2020, his ‘Coolie No. 1’ was released directly on the OTT platform.

Karthik Aryan-Kiara Advani’s ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’ and ‘Indiana Jones: The Dial of Destiny’ will be released in July.
