School Timings Changed: Summer is in full swing and the heat waves have made the weather worse. Timing has been changed at many places to save school children from this weather attack. At the same time, some states like Odisha, West Bengal and Tripura have announced summer holidays. Timing has been reduced a lot in Patna. Schools can open only till 10.45. In this episode, the names of three districts of UP have also been added. The timings of schools have also been changed in the capital Lucknow, Prayagraj and Ghaziabad. Students are being called to school for the shortest possible time. Efforts are being made to have school holidays between 12-1.

What was the timing in Prayagraj

The timing of schools has been changed for class 1 to 8 in Prayagraj. Classes from class 1 to 8 will run from 7 am to 12 noon. This decision has been taken to save children from the scorching sun.

School timings changed in Lucknow as well

There are instructions to open schools from class 1 to 8 in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, from 7.30 am to 12.30 pm. While schools from class 9 to 12 can be opened from morning to 1.30 in the afternoon.

What is the new timing in Ghaziabad

Timing of schools in Ghaziabad has been changed by the order of DM. Here schools from class 1 to 8 will operate only between 7.30 am to 12.30 pm due to heatwave. Similarly, school timings have been changed recently in Jharkhand as well. Here children up to class 5 are being called to school between 7 am and 11 am while senior children’s school is till 12 noon. Apart from this, there have been guidelines issues in Delhi.
