Father became emotional after seeing his son, kissed Ashwin after returning home

Indian cricket’s great spinner Ravichandran Ashwin was given a grand welcome at his home in Chennai. When Ashwin returned home after retiring from international cricket, his family, fans and well-wishers were present in large numbers to honor him. Fans outside the house showered flowers to the tune of drums and celebrated by remembering Ashwin’s long career. On this special occasion, his father was seen in an emotional mood. He hugged Ashwin and expressed his pride by kissing his cheek.

Decision of retirement made me emotional
Ashwin announced his retirement after the Test played against Australia in Brisbane. In the press conference, he said, “This is an emotional moment for me and my family. But it is also a moment of satisfaction and relief for me. I played to my full potential and contributed for the Indian team.”

Ashwin’s historic career
Ravichandran Ashwin made his Test cricket debut against West Indies in 2011 and soon became an important player of the Indian team. He took 537 wickets in 106 Test matches and also scored 3503 runs with the bat. In 2016, he won the title of ICC Cricketer of the Year and Test Cricketer of the Year. Ashwin has won many matches on home pitches with his strategy and variety.
