New Delhi: Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan starrer Adipurush is out in theatres. The craze around the film has been high with prediction of more than 100 crore global box office opening. The film’s initial reviews have been mixed, with some criticizing the VFX, while others not being happy with the dialogues. Meanwhile, a video is going viral on the internet where a man who was criticizing the film was beaten up by the people around him.
In the video, a moviegoer is speaking about the film, reportedly outside Prasad IMAX in Hyderabad. When he expressed his opinion on the film, the crowd around him got violent and started beating him up.
The man said, “They kept all the monsters from the play station games in this one. Except for Hanuman, background score, and some 3D shots here and there, there is nothing else.”
About Prabhas’ performance as Ram, he said, “Absolutely doesn’t suit, in the get-up. In Baahubali, he was like a king and there was a royalty. Seeing the royalty in that, they took him for this role. Om Raut didn’t show Prabhas properly.”

People around him then got angry at him and confronted him, which soon turned violent and he was then beaten up by those around him and had to be rescued.
The VFX of the film was heavily criticized first when the teaser was launched in October 2022. It was also slammed for the apparent Islamisation of Lankesh, played by Saif, as the demon king was seen sporting a beard and buzz cut. The row prompted the makers to push the movie’s release date from January to June 2023.
The film features Prabhas as Lord Ram, Kriti Sanon as goddess Sita, Sunny Singh as Lakshman and Saif Ali Khan as Raavan.
