Exclusive: ‘Narendra Modi is less Prime Minister and more Publicity Minister’, Shatrughan Sinha said – ‘Mamata Banerjee PM face…’

Shatrughan Sinha Interview: TMC MP from Asansol Shatrughan Sinha has said that Narendra Modi is less of a Prime Minister and more of a publicity minister. Shatrughan Sinha has said this in an interview given to ABP News. While talking to ABP News in Patna on Wednesday (03 April), he said that Narendra Modi has been only campaigning since the beginning in the last 10 years. Till date he has not held a single press conference.

Shatrughan Sinha said that America’s Trump is said to be the toughest leader, but he used to hold press conferences in every matter. Our country’s Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, who was called Mouni Baba, used to hold press conferences and talk to the media every moment. He used to put the government’s work in front of the media, but he (Narendra Modi) only does publicity. Their (BJP) people only Narendra Modi Let’s talk about. Many of my old friends with whom I talk also talk about this, but when they are in the party, they cannot say it publicly.

In further conversation, on BJP’s slogan of 400 seats, Shatrughan Sinha said that it seems ridiculous to us. The situation of 2004 should not happen again. When our Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee gave the slogan of ‘India Shining’. There was less publicity in many schemes from agriculture to industry and defense and elections were fought on the slogan of India Shining. The result was that Manmohan Singh’s government was formed. You (BJP) are not going to get even a single seat in the South. Getting one or two seats in some state is a different matter. Mamata Banerjee is in power in Bengal. You are not going to get a single seat from here.

What did the opposition say to the Prime Minister’s face?,

In the conversation, Shatrughan Sinha gave a big statement on who will be the face of the Prime Minister in the India alliance. Said that when the government was overthrown in 2004, there was no face at that time also. Congress made Manmohan Singh its face. Still no face is not a big issue. The face can be anyone. Mamata Banerjee can become the face of the Prime Minister. Arvind Kejriwal is a good leader. He can become the face.

On the other hand, Arvind Kejriwal said that running the government from jail is absolutely right. Arvind Kejriwal did a lot of work in Delhi. Manish Sisodia did a lot of work in education in Delhi. Today he is running the government from jail, so only BJP is opposing him, why are the people not? Why is not a single person coming on the streets? The public knows that Arvind Kejriwal is not going to do any wrong. Whether in jail or in a well, he is thinking about the public welfare. They are working in the public interest, so according to me no one is doing anything wrong.

Shatrughan Sinha said that when Aam Aadmi Party leader Sanjay Singh got bail, these people are saying what a big deal this is. When bail was not being granted, the same people were saying that these people have done wrong, are corrupt, so how will they get bail. BJP people talk double.
