Exclusive: 10 big states with 309 Lok Sabha seats will leave Congress to defeat Modi

Exclusive: For the first time after the independence of the country, Congress has not been in power for more than 9 years. To return to power, the Congress is ready to make all kinds of political compromises to be a part of the opposition unity. Especially regarding the distribution of seats, a very soft attitude has been adopted. Regarding this, when ABP Live investigated the state wise Lok Sabha seats, shocking results are coming out. For opposition unity, 10 big states of the country can come out of the hands of Congress, where the position of Congress will become secondary in future. However, there is still no Congress government in these states. Out of these, Delhi, Punjab and Kerala are the three states where it will not be easy to distribute seats from Aam Aadmi Party and Left parties to Congress. In these states, the Congress may go to the polls alone.

If there is opposition unity, Congress will become a second class party in 10 states

SP and RLD on 80 seats in Uttar Pradesh, JDU and RJD on 40 seats in Bihar, Shiv Sena (Thackeray) and NCP on 48 seats in Maharashtra, Trinamool Congress on 42 seats in West Bengal, DMK on 39 seats in Tamil Nadu, 20 in Kerala Most of the seats will be contested by CPI (M), PDP and National Conference on 6 seats in Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha on 14 seats in Jharkhand, 13 seats in Punjab and 7 seats in Delhi by Aam Aadmi Party. Due to which the position of Congress will become second class. There are 309 Lok Sabha seats in these states.

Suspicion on Punjab-Delhi

There is still a doubt about the opposition unity. On Friday, Kejriwal got angry and left Patna. In such a situation, there is very little possibility that the Aam Aadmi Party in Punjab and Delhi will be able to make any kind of agreement with the Congress in any case. Local Congress leaders also do not want to compromise with the Aam Aadmi Party. Punjab has 13 Lok Sabha seats and Delhi has 7 seats. You have high hopes from both these states. Not only this, but Haryana is in between Punjab and Delhi. Here too, the Aam Aadmi Party is preparing to contest the elections vigorously.

Most of the small states will come as part of the Congress.

Arunachal Pradesh 2, Assam 14, Andhra Pradesh 25, Telangana 17, Chandigarh 1, Chhattisgarh 1, Dadra & Nagar Haveli 1, Daman & Diu 1, Goa 2, Gujarat 26, Haryana 10, Himachal 4, Karnataka 28, Lakshadweep 1, Madhya Pradesh 29, Manipur 2, Meghalaya 2, Mizoram 1, Nagaland 1, Odisha 21, Pondicherry 1, Rajasthan 25, Sikkim 1, Tripura Of these, Congress will be able to contest elections alone on 5 seats in Uttarakhand. There are 233 seats in the Lok Sabha in these states.

These questions are also arising in the midst of opposition unity

, If Rahul Gandhi does not get relief from the court, then who will be the prime ministerial candidate of the Congress?
, Uttar Pradesh remained the stronghold of the Gandhi-Nehru family. Is ready to compromise with SP?
, Will Congress support Kejriwal against the ordinance in Rajya Sabha to forge opposition unity?
, What message is being tried to be given by organizing a meeting of opposition unity in Shimla?
, Does the Congress consider Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh, as its lucky charm?

Fractures before opposition unity

According to senior journalist Pradeep Singh, the political compromise of Congress is most complicated in UP and West Bengal. The disunity had started even before the opposition unity. KCR was not called from Telangana. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal left from Patna even before the press conference of the opposition. It is clear from this that in the coming days, there is a possibility of increasing the conflict between the opposition regarding the distribution of seats. Later it will happen that the parties with which the agreement was going on with the Congress, there will be an agreement on the same number of seats.

Congress should not compromise on its interests

Journalist Rashid Kidwai, who knows Congress closely, says that due to opposition unity, Congress may suffer a lot in many states. Along with maintaining opposition unity, the Congress should also keep its own interests in mind, so that the regional parties do not overpower it.

Congress should lead the opposition unity

Priyanka Gandhi’s advisor Acharya Pramod Krishnam says that Congress should lead the opposition unity. Congress is the only party which can defeat the Modi government at the Centre. For this, it is necessary that the opposition parties first of all join hands. Set the agenda, then move forward. It should not happen that this unity is created to weaken the Congress, which will harm the Congress in future.
