Entry ban on Bangladeshis until attacks on Hindus stop! Decision of hotels in Barak Valley of Assam

Bangladesh Violence On Hindu: Hotel and restaurant owners in Assam’s Barak Valley have announced that they will not serve Bangladeshi citizens until attacks on Hindus and people of other minority communities in Bangladesh stop. Actually, Barak Valley is a region of Assam which includes Cachar, Karimganj and Hailakandi districts. It shares a 129 km long border with the Sylhet region of Bangladesh.

Babul Rai, president of Barak Valley Hotel and Restaurant Association, said on Friday, “The situation of Hindus and other minorities in Bangladesh is worrying. We cannot accept this in any way, hence we have decided that until the situation improves and atrocities on Hindus stop, we will not accept any citizen of the neighboring country in the three districts of Barak Valley. Will keep. This is our way of protesting.”

‘Will consider the decision only when the situation improves’

He said, “The people of Bangladesh should ensure that stability returns to the country. Only if the situation improves can we reconsider our decision.” A few days ago, Bajrang Dal had asked the organizers of a global exhibition held in Silchar to stop two ‘people selling Bangladeshi products’ in protest against the atrocities on Hindus in the neighboring country. They were asked to close the stall and their demand was accepted.

Hospital stopped treatment of Bangladeshi citizens

A few days ago, JN Roy Hospital located in Maniktalla, Kolkata had indefinitely stopped the treatment of patients coming from Bangladesh. This big decision was taken by the hospital in protest against the atrocities on Hindus in Bangladesh and the arrest of Chinmoy Krishna Das. However, a TMC minister had opposed this decision of the hospital.
