Venkatesh believes that education is very important and it continues till the end of life. He recently gave an interview to Indian Express. Venkatesh told during the conversation that he is doing PhD. He said, “It is easier for me to take decisions on the ground because of my education. I want cricketers to have not only cricket but also general knowledge. I am currently doing my PhD.

On which subject is Venkatesh doing PhD?

Venkatesh talked about his studies in the interview. He told that he is doing PhD in Finance. Therefore, soon his name will be prefixed with Doctor. Venkatesh has been good in studies along with cricket and he has decided to continue it along with cricket.

Venkatesh got profit of crores in mega auction –

Venkatesh was earlier a part of KKR. But KKR had released him. Venkatesh’s last salary was Rs 8 crore. But after coming to the mega auction, he got a lot of profit. Venkatesh gained crores of rupees. KKR bought him for Rs 23.75 crore. Along with KKR, Royal Challengers Bangalore also wanted to buy him. But RCB had made the last bid of up to Rs 23.50 crore.
