Do or die fight, Bengaluru-Punjab clash today; the loser will be out

RCB vs PBKS: Royal Challengers Bangalore and Punjab Kings will clash in the 58th match of IPL 2024. So far, Mumbai Indians is the only team which is officially out of the playoffs. The battle to remain in the top-4 is still going on among the other 9 teams. Today there is a match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Punjab Kings. RCB and PBKS are currently ranked 7th and 8th respectively in the points table and both of them currently have eight points each. This clash will be very important for both the teams to remain in the race for the playoffs.

Royal Challengers Bangalore and Punjab Kings have played 11 matches so far and both the teams have registered four wins each. They need to win the next three matches to remain in the race for the playoffs. But in today’s match one team is going to be eliminated. Because even if the team that lost today wins the next 2 matches, it will be able to get only 12 points. Although CSK, LSG and DC currently have 12 points, but there is still a match between Lucknow and Delhi, due to which one of them will definitely reach 14 points.

RCB has scored a hat-trick of wins

At one time, Royal Challengers Bangalore could register only one win in 8 matches. But Faf du Plessis’s army has scored a hat-trick of victories by being victorious in the last three matches. If the team has to keep alive its hopes of going to the playoffs, it will have to win the next three matches. In the last 3 matches, RCB has defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad once and Gujarat Titans twice.

Mumbai is out

Mumbai Indians has become the first team to be out of IPL 2024. MI has registered only 4 wins in 12 matches so far, due to which the team is currently at 9th position in the points table with 8 points. Even if Mumbai wins the next two matches, it will be able to get 12 points. But MI still has to play matches with KKR and LSG and that can especially increase the problems for Lucknow. Today another name will be added to this list.
