DK Shivakumar As Karnataka Deputy CM: After a lot of brainstorming in Karnataka, the name of the Chief Minister has been sealed. Every effort was made by the high command to persuade DK Shivakumar. Only after this the name was also disclosed.

After much persuasion, he has agreed to the number two post in the state. However, in a conversation with NDTV, he said that the decision of the high command should be accepted in the same way as the decision of the court is accepted.

Congress leader DK Shivakumar on being named as Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka said, “Everything is fine in the party and everything is going to be fine in the future as well. I had said earlier also that whatever decision the party high command takes, we will accept it.” Whatever formula has been made, we all accept it.”
