Miscreants Set Fire In House Of Dalit: On Thursday (31 October) in Karayaparsurai police station area of Nalanda district of Bihar, miscreants set fire to the hut of Manjhi family due to a mutual dispute. After the incident, there was an outcry in the Dalit’s house. There is no report of any casualty in this incident, although the victim’s house was completely burnt to ashes. The police have started investigating this matter and are conducting raids to arrest the accused.
All the things kept in the house were burnt to ashes.
According to the police, a dispute broke out between two parties in Chhittar Bigha village over allegedly not giving matchsticks on the night of Diwali. During this, there was fighting and abuse between both the parties. After this the bullies set fire to the thatched hut of the Manjhi family. A police officer said that during investigation it was found that there was a dispute between Annu Mahato and Golu Manjhi, residents of Chhittar Bigha, over some issue. At the same time, Mangal Manjhi’s hut was set on fire, due to which the house and all the items kept in it were burnt to ashes.
Police called FSL team
As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and started investigating the case. The officer said that on the statement of Mangal Manjhi’s wife Dharamsheela Devi, an FIR in this case has been registered in Karayaparsurai police station. Four people have been made accused in this incident. FSL team has also been called for investigation. He told that the entire situation is being monitored. The law and order situation in the village is normal. Police are continuously conducting raids to arrest the accused.
