Bengaluru Volvo SUV Road Accident: A terrible road accident took place in Bengaluru, in which six members of a family died. After this road accident, a debate has erupted whether cars designed to be safe prove to be effective on unsafe roads. On Saturday (December 21, 2024), a family was traveling in a Volvo SUV. At the same time, a container truck overturned and fell on the car, due to which the entire car was crushed and six people of the family lost their lives. This road accident occurred on National Highway No. 48 near Nelamangala on the outskirts of Bengaluru.

Police said that an Eicher truck carrying aluminum pillars weighing several tonnes was going to Bengaluru when in an attempt to avoid collision with another vehicle moving in front, the driver lost control of the vehicle and due to the high speed, the truck went to the other side of the divider. Reached and overturned a Volvo car going towards Tumkuru. The collision was so horrific that the Volvo car was badly damaged. The truck also collided with a tempo before stopping, although the tempo suffered very little damage.

Bengaluru road accident recorded in CCTV

When the truck crushed the Volvo, its shocking video was recorded in a nearby CCTV camera. Police are currently analyzing the footage as part of their investigation into the accident. The deceased have been identified as Chandrayagappa Goul (48), his wife Gaurabai (42) and their relatives Vijayalakshmi (36), John (16), Deeksha (12) and Arya (6). When this accident happened, the family was going to Vijayapura.

Bengaluru accident sparked debate on social media

People present there at the time of the incident said that the truck driver Arif had suddenly lost control of the vehicle while trying to save a car that had stopped in front of him. A crossed the divider and collided with a Volvo SUV. A heated debate has erupted on social media regarding this entire incident. Two big things have come to light from this. Firstly, other people are driving carelessly on the road and secondly, even safe cars are not able to save people’s lives.
