Lalbaugcha Raja Donation: The Ganpati festival continues in Mumbai. A large number of people are arriving to have darshan of their beloved Bappa. Devotees are donating generously to Lalbaug’s King. Devotees are offering gold and silver along with cash. On the 8th day of Ganpati festival (15 September), the counting of donations and offerings has been completed at Lalbaug’s King Darbar. During this period, a total cash amount of Rs 73 lakh 10 thousand has been received.
Apart from this, devotees of Ganpati Bappa have also offered huge amount of gold and silver. On the 8th day, 199.310 grams of gold and 10.551 grams of silver have been donated. There are still two days left for Ganpati immersion. Till now, a total of 4 crore 15 lakh 20 thousand rupees have been received as offerings.
Devotees are donating freely in the court of Lalbaugcha Raja
On the first day of Ganpati festival, Lalbaugcha Raja in Mumbai received donations of about 48 lakh 30 thousand rupees. Apart from this, donations of 255.80 grams of gold and 5,024 grams of silver were also received. When the offerings of the second day were counted, devotees donated 67 lakh 10 thousand rupees in cash. During this time, 342.770 grams of gold and silver were also offered.
According to the counting on the third day of the festival, Lalbaug’s King received a total cash amount of 57 lakh 70 thousand rupees during this period. Apart from this, devotees of Ganpati Bappa also offered 159.700 grams of gold and 7,152 grams of silver.
The 10-day event of Ganesh Utsav 2024 started on the fourth day of Bhadrapada month i.e. on 7 September. This festival is celebrated with great enthusiasm and zeal in Mumbai as well as in the whole of Maharashtra. Lalbaugcha Raja Sarvajanik Ganesh Utsav Mandal was established in 1934 and since then this tradition of Ganpati worship has been going on here.
