‘Demonstration of power’ of Air Force on Rafale, Sukhoi-Mirage, Agra-Lucknow Expressway, watch video

Air Force Exercise: The Indian Air Force is rehearsing on the 3.5 km long airstrip of the Agra-Lucknow Expressway on Saturday (April 6). During this time, some of the most powerful fighter planes of the Air Force will make the world aware of their capabilities. Rehearsal of vehicles is going to take place on the expressway on Saturday, while the main maneuver is going to take place on Sunday (April 7) afternoon. In view of the maneuvers, anti-missile and drone systems have been deployed.

The Air Force is conducting this rehearsal to take stock of its capabilities and preparedness for dangerous operations. The Indian Air Force has deployed Airborne Warning and Control System and Anti-Missile System based on IL-76 aircraft on 3.5 km stretch of 302 km long Lucknow-Agra Expressway. Fighter and cargo aircraft and helicopters will take off and touch down on the airstrip of the expressway on Saturday and Sunday.

At the same time, the Air Force has also started a special landing exercise near Unnao, Uttar Pradesh. A video of this has also surfaced, in which the Air Force’s Sukhoi-30 MKI aircraft can be seen landing. The plane can be seen flying far in the air. During this time, security personnel are also seen standing. The Air Force had conducted a similar exercise in 2017, in which a total of 16 aircraft took part.

Which fighter aircraft are involved in the exercise?

Before the exercise to be held on April 7, aircraft like Jaguar, Sukhoi, Mirage-17, Carrier Aircraft, Hercules-C are going to fly. Some of the most dangerous aircraft of the Air Force including Globemaster C-17 aircraft carrier, Tejas fighter aircraft, Chinook, Apache and Prachanda helicopters are going to participate in the exercise being conducted to test the war preparedness. It is expected that some of these aircraft can also be seen performing aerobatics.
