Delhi: Police suddenly raids gambling den in Greater Kailash, 21 gamblers arrested

Delhi Crime News: Police raided a gambling den in Delhi and arrested 21 gamblers. Police has also recovered 14 thousand cash and playing cards from the spot. DCP Chandan Chowdhary told that the police team was deployed in sensitive areas of Greater Kailash to curb organized crime. The police team constantly strives to prevent organized crime by investigating suspects and developing information.

Delhi Police raids gambling den

Under the leadership of SHO Greater Kailash, the team of SI Sribhagwan, ASI Ajay, Kamlesh, Head Constable Surendra, Female Constable Shivani was engaged in the investigation. In this sequence, the police team got information from secret sources about the running of gambling racket in Zamrudpur area. The information was further confirmed. Based on the information received, the police team raided the Gali Mobile Wali of Zamrudpur.

21 gamblers caught gambling on the spot

Due to the sudden raid, there was a stir among the gamblers who were gambling. Gamblers started running here and there. The police team was already prepared on the basis of information. The gamblers did not get a chance to escape from the gambling den. While taking action, the police arrested 21 gamblers. From the spot, the police also recovered Rs 13 thousand 791 cash and played cards at stake. After the arrest of the gamblers, the police is engaged in further action. The police have registered a case against all the gamblers under the Gambling Act. The police is considering the busting of a big gambling racket in Delhi a big success.
