Weather update: The weather patterns in Delhi-NCR suddenly changed on the morning of Tuesday (April 4). The day of the city dwellers has started with unseasonal rains. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has said that there may be moderate to heavy rain with thunder in the national capital during the next two hours. The temperature has come down due to rain.
Along with Delhi, rain was also recorded in Noida, Bulandshahr, Secunderabad and Dadri adjacent to it on Tuesday morning. The Meteorological Department had already predicted rain in Delhi and surrounding areas.

IMD had said, light to moderate intensity rainfall with heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places very likely over entire Delhi and adjoining areas of NCR, Ganaur, Meham, Tosham, Rohtak, Bhiwani (Haryana) Barot, Shikarpur, Khurja. There are chances. Also, during the next two hours, there was a possibility of rain in the cities of western UP including Kithore, Garhmukteshwar, Pilkhua, Hapur, Jahangirabad, Aligarh, Kasganj, Nandgaon, Mathura.

It may remain cloudy throughout the day in the capital. The weather is expected to remain clear from Wednesday, which will remain for the next 4-5 days. However, during this time the temperature is not expected to rise much and it can only go up by two to three degrees.
Chances of rain in these states
Due to the Western Disturbance, there will be air pressure in many states of the country, due to which there may be rains with thunderstorms in Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana and Western Uttar Pradesh on April 4. Yellow alert has been issued in Himachal Pradesh due to western disturbance. The weather is expected to become dry from Wednesday.
Along with northwestern India, it may rain in the northeastern states of Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland in the next 24 hours. In the south, there is a possibility of rain in the coastal areas of Andhra Pradesh and Odisha.
