Pakistan’s Foreign Office said that “such rhetoric from the Indian leadership” cannot “divert the attention of the international community” from the alleged human rights violations in Jammu and Kashmir. The Foreign Office said Jammu and Kashmir is an “internationally recognized disputed territory”, the final status of which is to be determined in accordance with relevant UN Security Council resolutions and the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.
