Kangra (Himachal Pradesh): Tibet’s spiritual leader Dalai Lama has said that China wants to contact him to deal with the problem of Tibet and he is also ready for it. Whether this conversation is officially or unofficially, in any case they are ready for it. He said this to the media persons at Kangra airport in Himachal before leaving for his visit to Delhi and Ladakh.
I am always ready for talks – Dalai Lama
Dalai Lama said- ‘China is changing and it has now realized that the people of Tibet are very powerful.’ He said, “They (China) want to contact me to deal with the problem of Tibet and I am also absolutely ready.” Responding to a question, the Dalai Lama said, “I am always ready for talks with China and have made it clear years ago that we are not seeking complete independence.” We will be part of the Republic of China.
I am not angry with anyone – Dalai Lama
Earlier on July 6, the Dalai Lama celebrated his 88th birthday in Dharamsala and visited the main Tibetan temple close to his residence. Addressing the people present there on this occasion, the Dalai Lama said – I am not angry with anyone. I am not even angry with those leaders of China who adopted a harsh attitude towards Tibet. Indeed, China has historically been a Buddhist country.
Did whatever was possible without losing hope – Dalai Lama
The Dalai Lama said – ‘I was born in Tibet and my name is the Dalai Lama, but apart from working for the benefit of Tibet, I am working for the welfare of all sentient beings. I have done whatever I could without losing hope. The Dalai Lama said that the culture of Tibet is beneficial for the whole world.
