Cyrus Mystery Death: Former Tata Sons chairman Cyrus Mistry died in a road accident in Palghar, Maharashtra at 3 pm on Sunday. The body of Cyrus Mistry is being brought from Palghar to Mumbai. Motor Vehicle Inspector Manisha More said that we cannot say much right now. Inspected the car and will report soon. Palghar SP Balasaheb Patil said that Cyrus Mistry’s Mercedes car had crashed after hitting a divider on the bridge on the Surya river on the road going from Ahmedabad to Mumbai. There were 4 people in the car, out of which 2 people lost their lives on the spot. The remaining 2 people are undergoing treatment.

Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal condoled Mistry’s death and said, “Extremely saddened by the sudden demise of Cyrus Mistry. Indian industry has lost one of its shining stars. Businessmen Gautam Adani, N Chandrasekaran and Anand Mahindra also expressed grief over Mistry’s death.
