Crowd of devotees is being seen in Sangam area of ​​Prayagraj. Devotees can be seen moving from the VVIP ghat near Akbar’s Fort towards Sangam Nose. A large number of boats have been deployed in the Sangam area for the convenience of the devotees.

Stairway to Heaven in Sangam
People who reached Mahakumbh can be seen moving forward with full devotion to fulfill their main objective. Devotees are arriving to take a dip in Triveni. It is believed that by taking a dip in the Sangam, all sins are destroyed and the door to salvation opens.

Local people say that this place is a kind of staircase to heaven, bathing here washes away all sins and opens the doors of salvation. Devotees say that the sins committed unknowingly are eliminated by taking bath here, that is why we have come here.

According to the devotees, they have come here for the welfare of the entire family and to liberate them from whatever sins they have committed by mistake. He says that he has also brought wishes for the welfare and harmony of the country. Some girls who reached here said that they will not take bath, but will definitely come here again.

On this occasion, while conducting puja in a boat at the Sangam site, the Pandit told many important religious things. He told that this confluence of Ganga-Yamuna-Saraswati is Maa Triveni in itself, whose worship brings welfare to the family. He told that with the arrival of Sangam, the joy doubles, otherwise liberation is achieved just by seeing the Ganga.
