Controversial statement of Javed Miandad, said India should not go for ODI World Cup

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has not given permission for its team to participate in the upcoming mega event to be held in India. For this reason, the ICC has not yet been able to officially announce the schedule. Meanwhile, former Pakistan player Javed Miandad has once again given a controversial statement regarding India.

The draft of the schedule was sent to the ICC by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). According to him, the match between India and Pakistan was to be played in Ahmedabad on 15 October. Regarding this match, the Pakistan Cricket Board has talked about getting it done at some other venue as well.

Talking to Pakistani media, Javed Miandad said that politics should not be brought into cricket. But India is not ready to come to Pakistan. In such a situation, Pakistan should also not go to play the game. If India doesn’t come here then go to hell, even if it doesn’t come, we are preparing the best cricketers. We want to extend our hand towards you, you also come and extend your hand, talk to us so that the relations between the two countries improve and sports are promoted.

Miandad further said that I want to say clearly on this issue that if India does not come here to play then we should also not go there. We also have one of the best players who are continuously making their own identity in world cricket.

“Pakistan’s cricket is better than India’s. India can go to hell if they don’t want to come here. Pakistan should refuse to travel to India for the World Cup,” Javed Miandad.

Haven’t received permission from Pakistani government yet

Regarding participating in the ODI World Cup 2023 in India, Pakistan Cricket Board President Najam Sethi had said in his statement given a few days back that he has not yet received permission from the Government of Pakistan regarding this.
