Maharashtra Assembly Election 2024: maharashtra assembly elections Congress has released another list of candidates on Saturday (26 October). The party has announced the names of 16 candidates in this list. Before this, Congress had released two more lists. 48 candidates were announced in the first list, while names of 23 candidates were announced in the second list.
Rana Dilip Kumar has been given ticket from Khamgaon in this list of Congress regarding Maharashtra elections. Hemant Nanda Chimote has been made the candidate from Melaghat. Manohar Tulsiram has been made the candidate from Gadchiroli. Manikrao Thackeray has been fielded from Digras assembly seat.

Congress’s list of 16 candidates
Congress has given ticket to Mohanrao Marotrao Ambade from Nanded Assembly seat. Degalur Nivritirao Kondiba Kamble has been made the candidate. Hanmantrao Venjakatrao Patil Betmogarekar has been given a chance from Mukhed. Ijaz Beg Aziz Beg has been made the candidate from Malegaon Central seat. Shirishkumar Vasantrao Kotwal has been given ticket from Chandwad assembly seat.
Luckybhau Bhika Jadhav has been declared candidate from Ikatpuri. Dayanand Motiram Chorghe has been made the candidate from Bhiwandi West. At the same time, Sachin Sawant has been given a chance from Andheri West. Asif Zakaria has got the ticket from Vandre West. Kuldeep Dheeraj Patil has been made the candidate from Tuljapur. Rajesh Bharat Latkar has been made the candidate from Kolhapur North. Prithviraj Gulabrao Patil has been fielded from Sangli.
Congress has declared 87 candidates so far
With this list, Congress has so far announced 87 candidates. Earlier, in the list of 23 candidates, the party has fielded Anuja, wife of senior leader Sunil Kedar. Kedar has been disqualified from contesting elections for six years after his conviction in the Nagpur District Central Cooperative Bank (NDCCB) scam. She will contest from Savner seat of Nagpur district.
Senior party leader and former Deputy Speaker of the Assembly Vasant Purke has been fielded again from Ralegaon (Yavatmal). In Mumbai, the party has announced the candidature of Kalu Badheliya from Kandivali East seat, Ganesh Yadav from Sion Koliwada and Yashwant Singh from Charkop. Voting on all 288 seats in Maharashtra will be held on November 20 while counting of votes will take place on November 23.
