Odisha assembly elections will be held in four phases along with Lok Sabha elections.

Along with the Lok Sabha elections in Odisha, the assembly elections will also be held in four phases. The first phase of voting for the assembly elections will take place on May 13. After this, the second phase of voting will be held on May 20, the third phase on May 25 and the fourth phase on June 1. Nominations for the first phase can be filed till April 25 and candidatures can be withdrawn till April 29.

The dates for filing nominations and withdrawal of candidature in the second phase are May 3 and May 6, while in the third phase the dates are May 6 and May 9. In the last phase, candidates can file nominations till May 14 and the last date for withdrawal of nominations is May 17. Along with the Lok Sabha elections, the results of the state assembly elections will also be declared on June 4. In the morning, there are chances of a triangular contest between the ruling BJD and BJP as well as Congress candidates.
