Congress raised questions on BJP’s Fact Finding Committee, said- ‘Government works selectively’

West Bengal Panchayat Election Results 2023: The BJP government at the center has constituted a fact-finding committee regarding the violence that took place during the Panchayat elections in West Bengal in the past. The committee visited the violence-affected areas on Thursday (July 13), on which the ruling party of the state expressed strong objection. Now Congress leader Salman Khurshid has also reacted to this.

Congress leader Salman Khurshid on formation of BJP’s fact-finding team said that this central government has a selective approach towards things. It goes to West Bengal at one place, while the other is Manipur, where violence has been going on for months, it does not go there.

‘Everyone should be treated equally’
The Congress leader said that this government does everything selectively. This government goes somewhere, doesn’t go somewhere, comments somewhere, doesn’t do it somewhere. He said, “When they say that we want everyone’s support, everyone’s trust, then they should treat everyone equally. Only one thing should be said.

Explain that after the incident of violence and murders during the panchayat elections, the BJP chief has sent a fact finding team of four members to Bengal, whose purpose is to visit the areas affected by election violence and investigate the cases of violence, as well as Prepare a report on this and hand it over to BJP President JP Nadda.

TMC had said false committee
Trinamool Congress chief and state Chief Minister Mamta Banerjee termed BJP’s Fact Finding Committee as a liar and said that why this false Fact Finding Committee has been sent? He said why these teams do not go to Manipur? TMC said on this fact finding committee that this is BJP’s way of diverting attention from its failures. Mamta Banerjee said that she (BJP) is worried about the humiliating defeat in the elections held here.
