Congress Candidate List: In view of the Lok Sabha elections 2024, Congress released another candidate list on Sunday (April 28). In this candidate list of Congress, names of 8 candidates were announced for the assembly elections along with two Lok Sabha seats of Odisha.
Congress has changed its candidate from Sambalpur seat and made Nagendra Pradhan its candidate. Earlier, Congress had given ticket to Dulal Chandra Pradhan for Sambalpur seat. At the same time, the party has expressed confidence in Suresh Mohapatra on Cuttack Lok Sabha seat.
Candidate list also released for assembly elections

Congress declared candidates on how many seats?
Let us tell you that till now Congress has released three lists for Odisha Assembly. Congress had announced the names of 49 candidates in the first list. After this the names of 75 candidates were announced and today the names of eight candidates were announced.
Elections will be held in four phases
It is noteworthy that along with Lok Sabha elections, assembly elections are also to be held in Odisha. Elections will be held here in four phases. First phase – 13 May, second phase – 20 May, third phase – 25 May and fourth phase – 1 June. There are 21 Lok Sabha seats in Odisha as well as 147 assembly seats for which voting is to be held.
