Google Meet Viewer Mode: All of you must have attended some meeting during the Corona period through Google Meet. Actually, Google is going to bring a feature called Viewer Mode in Meet, which gives the option to the host while setting up the meeting that the people attending the meeting can only hear and see it. After turning on this mode, any kind of disturbance will not come in the meeting because no participant will be able to open the option of Mic or video call. To turn on this feature, you have to go to the calendar meeting option and go to the meeting settings and select the option of ‘everyone is a viewer’.
Currently this feature is not available for everyone. The company is gradually rolling out this feature to everyone.

Host will have this option
The host of the meeting will also have the option to set any viewer as a contributor during the meeting. After this, the contributor can keep his point through video or voice. Note, viewers will not be able to use any feature of Google Meet during the meeting such as emoji reaction or chat, only in poll question and Q&A, viewers can give their reaction.
Earlier in April, Google started the option of video calls in 1080p quality for Meet. This has improved the video calling experience of people on the app. Apart from this, the company has allowed workplace admins to provide special background for the virtual meeting. Means special background admins can be installed during meetings.
