Mohsin Naqvi On Champions Trophy 2025 Hybrid Model: Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has made it clear that the Champions Trophy will not be organized under the hybrid model. Earlier there were reports that the Champions Trophy for India would be organized under the hybrid model. Mohsin Naqvi also stressed that if India has any problem, they can find a solution by talking to the PCB.
In a video shared by PCB, Mohsin Naqvi while talking to the media said, “Pakistan’s pride and respect is our priority. The Champions Trophy will be held only in our country, we will not accept any hybrid model. If India faces many problems. If so, then they can come to us and we will find a solution.”
Mohsin Naqvi further said, “We are adamant that we will not go towards the hybrid model. We are waiting for the ICC to release the schedule as soon as possible. ICCC should think about its credibility because it is responsible for all the events in the world.” The schedule is being rescheduled, but we have not received any cancellation notice yet, all the teams in the world who have qualified for the Champions Trophy are ready to come. Them There is no problem.”
Apart from this, Mohsin Naqvi emphasized that sports and politics should not clash with each other. Naqvi said, “I still believe that sports and politics should not collide.”
Now it will be interesting to see where Team India’s matches take place in the Champions Trophy. Earlier, Pakistan had also hosted the 2023 Asia Cup, but in that too the hybrid model was adopted due to Team India. India’s matches were held in Sri Lanka under the hybrid model.
