Method of worship of Mother Skandmata on the fifth day of Navratri (Maa Skandmata)

If we talk about this form of Maa Skandmata, she has four arms. The mother is holding Skanda i.e. Kartikeya in her lap with her right upper arm. There is a lotus flower in the hand of the lower arm on this side.

There is Varada Mudra in the upper left arm. Below is another white lotus flower. Skandmata (Maa Skandmata) rides a lion. Because of always sitting on the lotus seat, it is also called Padmasana.

On the fifth day of Chaitra Navratri, wake up in the morning and take bath to worship Goddess Skandmata. Then sat for worship wearing yellow clothes.

Meditate on Goddess Skandmata with red flowers in your hand. Offer Akshat, incense, perfume, flowers, batasha, betel leaves, betel nut, cloves to the Goddess.

Light incense sticks in front of Maa Skandmata. After this, offer banana, mother’s favorite food.
