The centenary year of Tansen Music Festival started in Gwalior on Sunday. On this occasion, 546 artists created a world record through 9 musical instruments.
The names of the artists have been registered in the Guinness Book of World Records. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav was the special guest of the function.
During the Tansen Sangeet Samaroh, art practitioners got their names registered in the Guinness Book of World Records by performing on musical instruments for 9 minutes.
347 male artists participated in the event while female artists also played an important role in creating the world record. A large number of people were also present during the joint presentation of the artists.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav praised the artists in his address on this occasion. He said that getting names registered in the Guinness Book of World Records through musical instruments is a true tribute to Tansen by the artists.
Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, Assembly Speaker Narendra Singh Tomar, Dr Mohan Yadav government minister Tulsi Silavat, Dharmendra Lodhi, Gwalior MP Bharat Singh Kushwaha and many other MLAs and politicians participated in the event.
The people present were mesmerized after seeing the performance of the artists during the program. The centenary year of Tansen Music Festival was inaugurated by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav.
