CBI Sandeshkhali: Sandeshkhali of North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal has been in the news for the last several months. In this case, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has registered a case against 5 powerful influential people and unknown people of Sandeshkhali in connection with land dispute, assault and physical exploitation of women. With this, investigation has been started in the matter.
CBI sources say that the High Court had ordered that the people of Sandeshkhali can now directly complain about any matter to the CBI, after which the CBI had issued its email ID for the people of Sandeshkhali. However, since then the CBI had received many complaints. At the same time, CBI has now registered the first case out of these complaints.
