Patel allegedly gave the money received from patients’ relatives to Rawat personally in cash or forwarded it to others after receiving the money from Sharma, Kuldeep, or Khattar as directed by the surgeon. The CBI spokesperson disclosed that Rawat forced the patients to pay a price that was many times more than the actual cost of the equipment.
