Owaisi On Yogi Adityanath: All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) President Asaduddin Owaisi has fiercely targeted Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath over the case of stone pelting on police in Kakrauli area of Muzaffarnagar. Asaduddin Owaisi has made serious allegations against Yogi Adityanath and said that Yogi’s administration has turned into “misgovernance” and the attitude of his government is partisan.
Asaduddin Owaisi has written on social media “Courage was shown against hooliganism, false cases have been filed against them, it is not Yogi’s administration but misgovernance.”
AIMIM workers are being targeted
AIMIM Chief Aduddin Owaisi said that false cases have been registered against more than 80 AIMIM workers in Kakrauli village of Meerapur, Muzaffarnagar. This action has allegedly been taken by the police to raise voice against them. Owaisi claimed that false cases have also been filed against the women who were raising their voice against the “hooliganism” of the police during the elections.
Attack on the basic principles of democracy
Owaisi Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Termed the administration as “misgovernance” and said that this government is working against democratic values. He accused the state government of implementing repressive policies and hinted at raising the issue at the national level.
Case registered against more than 100 workers
Voting was held on 20 November 2024 for the by-election in Meerapur assembly seat of Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh. During this time, a case has been registered against more than 100 SP and AIMIM workers for pelting stones and attacking the police in Kakrauli area.
