Fine for writing caste related words on vehicle

Under the Motor Vehicle Rules 1989 of the Government of India, it has been clearly instructed that no person can put any kind of sticker or label on the registration plate or number plate of his vehicle. Apart from this, any caste related words like Jat, Gurjar, Rajput, or Hindu are found written on the vehicle. So in such a situation, action can be taken under Section 177 of the Motor Vehicles Act. Traffic police can issue challan for your vehicle. For this you may also have to pay a heavy fine. For this, a fine of up to Rs 2500 can be imposed by the traffic police.
