Hamas Chief Yahya Sinwar Last Moments: Israel recently said that the IDF has killed Hamas Chief Yahya Sinwar. The Israeli Army has also posted a video of the last moments of Yahya Sinwar, known as the butcher of Khan Younis. In this video it can be seen that the Israeli army drone enters a destroyed building. Things are scattered all around inside the building.

Dust, bricks and broken items are scattered everywhere in the rooms of the building. After walking a little further, there are some sofas placed in the room. A man with his face hidden is sitting on one of the sofas. Regarding this person, the Israeli Army has claimed that he is Hamas Chief Yahya Sinwar. A stick is seen in the man’s hand with which he seems to be defending himself. The Israeli Army claims that this video is from the time when it was carrying out the operation to kill Yahya Sinwar.

Was searching for Sinwar since last one year

The Israeli military has confirmed that Hamas Chief Yahya Sinwar was killed in an operation by IDF Southern Command soldiers on October 16, 2024, after a year-long search. The army also said that dozens of operations by the IDF and ISA (Shin Bet internal security agency) had been conducted in the area where Sinwar was killed. The Israeli army was continuously carrying out operations to find Sinwar.

Hamas elected new chief

After the death of Yahya Sinwar, Hamas has elected its new chief. Hamas has elected Khalil al-Hayya as its chief. Khalil was earlier Yahya’s deputy. Yahya’s death has also been confirmed by Hamas and only after this Khalil has been given the top post of the organization.

What did the new chief say?

Khalil Hayya has said that after Sinwar’s death the organization will emerge stronger. Khalil al-Hayya has said that his group will continue on its path to fulfill the ambitions of the Palestinian people. Khalil says that if Israel does not stop the attacks, then Hamas will also not release its people who were kidnapped in October last year.
