BSNL is closing this service, millions of customers will be affected, time till January 15

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is going to close one of its services, which is going to affect millions of customers. Actually, the government telecom company is stopping its 3G service in many districts including Patna, the capital of Bihar. In the first phase, the company had stopped this service in districts like Motihari, Katihar, Khagaria and Munger etc. Now this service will be stopped in Patna and other districts from January 15.

What will be the impact of service closure?

The closure of 3G service will have the biggest impact on customers having 3G SIMs. After the service is stopped, they will not be able to enjoy internet data on their mobile. They will only be able to make calls and SMS. BSNL officials said that the 4G network has been updated in the state. That’s why 3G service is being stopped. Let us tell you that the company is moving ahead with plans to upgrade 4G network and launch 5G services across the country this year.

Now what will happen to 3G SIM?

If 3G SIM users want to enjoy data, they will have to change the SIM. The company is giving 4G SIM in place of 3G SIM without any cost. 5G data will also work on this SIM in future. Users can change their SIM by visiting BSNL office. For this they will have to carry their identity card with them.
