Indian Man Return From Syria: Out of the total 75 Indian citizens stranded in Syria, one person has returned to India, who described the current situation there as the worst and said that there is open firing and bombing there. Ravi Bhushan, a citizen of Ghaziabad living in Syria, thanked the Indian government and said how the Indian Embassy helped him and other Indian citizens in sending them back. Also, looking at the suffering of the people of other countries, I felt that the steps taken by the Indian government were very good.
Speaking to ANI, Ravi Bhushan told how the Indian Embassy helped in bringing Indian citizens back home. Bhushan said, “India has started the rescue operation and we are the first rescue team from Syria. The best thing is that they contacted every single person. They were also encouraging them and asking them if they Are you okay or not?” The embassy sent them messages every hour telling them when and what they were going to do in the rescue operation.
‘The efforts of the Government of India were very good’
Ravi Bhushan said, “If anyone had any problem related to food or anything, they arranged for it. We are very grateful to the Indian government and the Indian embassies both in Lebanon and Syria.” Not only this, seeing the suffering of the people of other countries, Bhushan felt that the efforts made by the Indian government were very good.
‘Women and children were shivering in the cold’
Bhushan said, “We saw how people in other countries are suffering. We saw small children and women, how they were made to sit outside for more than 10-12 hours in 4-5 degree temperature. It was really terrible. , But because of the Indian government we did not face any such problem.”
The current situation in Syria is the worst.
Ravi Bhushan said, “There is panic in Syria. People are shooting on the open roads, bombing, robbing banks. They have completely damaged the airport. They are damaging the hotels and all the vehicles parked everywhere. Therefore the situation there is not good. I would say that the situation there is going to get worse in the coming few days.”
Ravi Bhushan had gone for business work
Ravi Bhushan had gone to Syria on business. At that time the situation there was good, but suddenly rebellion started there. A statement issued by the Indian Embassy in Lebanon said that all 75 Indian citizens evacuated from Syria reached Beirut on Wednesday, including 44 pilgrims from Jammu and Kashmir who were stranded in Sayida Zainab.
