Body of female constable recovered in Moradabad, shocking revelation made in police investigation

Moradabad News Today:Two days ago, a decapitated body of a woman was found in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, which has been identified by the police. According to Moradabad Police, two days ago, the decapitated body of a woman was found in the bushes on the banks of Ram Ganga river in Devapur of Katghar police station area, who has been identified as Rinki, a resident of Bijnor.

Moradabad police revealed that Rinki was in the police department and currently she was posted as a constable in the women’s police station of Rampur. Rinki was missing for about 15 days. Her parents had filed a case in the Civil Lines police station of Rampur against Rinki’s husband Sonu Kumar, accusing him of murdering their daughter and hiding the body.

Post mortem revealed
Moradabad Police started investigation after conducting post-mortem of the body of the unknown woman. The entire matter came to light when the woman was identified during the investigation. On the same day, the body of a child was also found lying on the river bank at some distance from the woman’s body, but it has not been identified yet.

What did the police say?
Moradabad SP City Ranvijay Singh said that the body of the woman whose body was found 2 days ago on the banks of Ram Ganga river has been identified. SP City said that the woman’s name was Rinki, she was posted as a constable in the women’s police station of Rampur. While her husband Sonu Kumar is posted in Special Branch (Intelligence Unit) in Rampur itself.

SP City told that both Rinki and Sonu Kumar are residents of Bijnor district, both were posted in Rampur. After the disappearance of the daughter, her parents had lodged an FIR against her constable husband Sonu Kumar in the Civil Lines police station of Rampur.

‘Police detained husband’
SP City Ranvijay Singh said that the post-mortem report and other documents of the woman have been handed over to Rampur Civil Lines Police. A case is already registered there in this matter. Therefore, now Rampur Police will investigate this case. Rampur Police has detained her constable husband Sonu Kumar on charges of murder of a woman constable and he is being interrogated.
