Maharashtra: Amidst the war of words between the Shiv Sena and the BJP, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation has issued a notice to Union Minister Narayan Rane’s bungalow in the posh Juhu area for inspection and measurement of the premises.
‘Adish’ This bungalow named is in the western civic ward of the western suburban area of Mumbai. On Thursday, the Assistant Engineer (Building and Factories) of BMC issued a notice to the owner of the bungalow. Although no one is named on the notice, BMC sources said that such a notice is issued by the Municipal Corporation to verify the complaints of illegal construction.
The notice states that the BMC officers ‘‘along with assistants or personnel shall reach Adish Bengala premises located at CTS No. 997 and 997A, Juhu on or after February 18.’’ Meanwhile, a team of Shiv Sena-ruled BMC went to the spot on Friday evening but returned without any action as no member of the Rane family was present at the bungalow, according to sources.
Mayor Kishori Pednekar said that she will make any comment on this issue only after having all the necessary information. For the past few days, the leaders of Shiv Sena and BJP are targeting each other and are embroiled in allegations and counter allegations.< /p>
