BJP Star Campaigners For Jalandhar Bypoll: BJP has released the list of its 40 star campaigners for the Lok Sabha by-election to be held in Jalandhar, Punjab. In this, the name of many veteran leaders and leaders of the party including former Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh is Sanil. Voting for the Jalandhar Lok Sabha seat is to be held on May 10. And the results will come on May 13. This seat has become vacant after the death of Congress MP Santokh Chowdhary.
Let us tell you that BJP has made Inder Iqbal Singh Atwal its candidate in the Jalandhar Lok Sabha by-election. Inder Iqbal Singh is the son of Charanjit Singh Atwal. Charanjit Singh Atwal resigned from the primary membership of the Shiromani Akali Dal the very next day after filing his son’s nomination. 86-year-old Charanjit Singh Atwal has been the Deputy Speaker of the Lok Sabha from 2004-09 and the Speaker of the Punjab Legislative Assembly twice.

Union Minister Smriti Irani, Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, Union Minister Anurag Thakur, Som Prakash, Arjun Ram Meghwal, Punjab BJP State President Ashwani Sharma, Incharge of Punjab and former Chief Minister of Gujarat Vijay Rupani, Punjab BJP has included 40 leaders including former Chief Minister Amarinder Singh, BJP National Vice President Saudan Singh, Party National General Secretaries Tarun Chugh, Mahendra Singh, Narendra Singh Raina and Sunil Jakhar in its list of star campaigners for the Jalandhar Lok Sabha bypoll.
The party also invited several other important Punjab BJP leaders including Lok Sabha MP Manoj Tiwari, Lok Sabha MP Hans Raj Hans, Anil Jain, Avinash Rai Khanna, Manjinder Singh Sirsa, Rana Gurmeet Singh Sodhi, Balbir Singh Sidhu and National Spokesperson Sardar RP Singh. Leaders have also been included in the list of star campaigners. It is to be known that, under the by-election for the Jalandhar Lok Sabha seat in Punjab, voting will be held on May 10. BJP has fielded Sardar Inder Iqbal Singh Atwal on this seat.
