Jharkhand Assembly Election 2024: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren attacked BJP fiercely on Tuesday. He alleged that BJP leaders are roaming here and there in helicopters to collect votes and they are engaged in vote bank politics before the assembly elections.
While inaugurating and laying the foundation stone of projects worth about Rs 1,241 crore in Bokaro, CM Hemant Soren said that the ruling Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) led alliance is busy implementing development projects in the larger interest of the people. He said that elections are going to be held in the state after two-three months and some of his opposition leaders are roaming here and there in helicopters to collect votes in villages.
‘They are only worried about votes’
Chief Minister Soren further said, “They (BJP) only do vote bank politics in the state. Neither they nor their subordinate officers are sensitive to the needs of the tribals and the poor. They are only concerned about votes.” He also alleged that a big conspiracy was hatched against the JMM-led government and its leaders and they were put in jail to stop development work in Jharkhand.
‘Our work continues without stop’
Discussing schemes like ‘Maiyan Samman Yojana’ in detail, CM Soren said, “They (BJP) have deployed all the central agencies to destabilize the democratically elected government, but we will not stop. We will continue for two years.” Till now we have been affected by the Covid pandemic and faced many challenges, but our development work continues unabated.” He said that many schemes launched by his government are benefiting all sections of the society in the state.
