Muzaffarpur: The spirits of criminals are high in Muzaffarpur district of Bihar. Criminals are carrying out incidents like murder, robbery, shooting and theft every day. The latest incident is of Muzaffarpur-Samastipur NH-28, where a major robbery has been carried out near Dighda bridge. The bike-borne criminals who were already ambushed here looted Rs 25 lakh from the manager of the petrol pump on the strength of the weapon and then fled while firing.

Here, as soon as the information of the incident was received, DSP Nagar Ramnaresh Paswan reached the spot and started investigating the matter. According to the information, the manager of the petrol pump located in Maniyari police station area of the district was going to deposit money in the bank on Monday afternoon. Due to the closure of the bank on Saturday and Sunday, he was going to the bank with Rs 25 lakh collected on both the days, during which this incident happened.
According to the manager Neeraj Kumar, the criminals came on a bike and took him into their possession on the strength of the gun. Then by showing the pistol, the criminals looted Rs 25 lakh from him. City DSP Ram Naresh Paswan, who came to investigate the matter, said that bike-borne criminals have carried out the robbery. Police is investigating, criminals will be caught at any cost.
