The stepwell is 150 years old
Shipra Gera told that along with the farming fields, a sheltered well was built here for rest. This was an antique thing, where we used to come in childhood. How all this ended is not known. But he has seen it in his childhood. He said that this stepwell could be up to 150 years old. Which was built by his ancestors.
He said that what to do next regarding the stepwell is in the hands of the government. The government should do whatever they like, for us this is the property of our ancestors which has now been excavated, of which we are very proud. We are very happy, we thought that it was over and what we were not able to know about has come to the fore today. This has brought glory to our grandmother. We thank the government for this. He told that he last saw it 20-25 years ago.
Shipra told that she came to know in the news that such a stepwell has come up. Now buildings have been constructed here. First of all, when we go to the fields, the only thing in our memory was that there was a well in the middle of the fields, it was covered by a two-storey verandah. After 25 years he has seen the stepwell again. But, today houses have been built around here and the entire stepwell is left in between the houses.
