  • iPhone users will get the option to change the default e-mail and browser. This change for Apple iPhone will be seen after the strictness of European Union.   • After the arrival of this feature, users will get to see more apps on Apple App Store. Additionally, users will also have the option to choose the app. This feature has been seen in the beta version of iOS 18.2.
  • By going to the Settings app, users can go to the default app and select their e-mail, browser etc. Apart from this, users will also have the option of new apps for calling, call filtering, messaging etc. The advantage of this feature will be that users will not have to choose Apple’s apps as their default apps.

However, this feature is currently seen in beta version. It is not yet confirmed whether Apple will bring this feature in the stable version also. However, due to pressure from agencies of the European Union and other countries, Apple will have to bring this feature sooner or later.
