Big action by America, ban on 4 organizations helping Pakistan

US-Pakistan Relations: The United States has banned four Pakistani entities for contributing to Pakistan’s ballistic missile program. These include the key government defense agency National Development Complex (NDC) and three other Karachi-based private companies – Akhtar & Sons Pvt Ltd, Affiliates International, and Rockside Enterprises.

The US State Department said that these bans have been imposed to stop weapons of mass destruction (WMD) and their means of delivery. Spokesman Matthew Miller said that these institutions managed equipment and supplies for Pakistan’s ballistic missile program.

NDC is responsible for the development of Pakistan’s long-range ballistic missiles, particularly the Shaheen series. It has been involved in acquiring items such as missile testing equipment and launch support chassis.

Akhtar & Sons Private Limited: Supplies equipment for the long-range ballistic missile program for the NDC.

Affiliates International: Facilitates procurement of missile utility items for NDC and other related entities.

Rockside Enterprise: Involved in supplying equipment for ballistic missiles to the NDC.
