The countdown for Diwali has now started. Along with this, many states of the country have given Diwali gifts to government employees.

Before Diwali, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Vishwa Sharma has given a big gift to the government employees. He has approved 3 percent increase in Dearness Allowance (DA) of state government employees.

In Haryana also, the government has increased the Dearness Allowance (DA) of state government employees by 3 percent. After this, now employees and pensioners will get 53 percent dearness allowance instead of 50 percent. This time the salary will also be deposited in the bank account on 30th October.

Yogi Adityanath has also given a big gift to the public on Diwali. There will be no power cut in the state from 28th October to 15th November. Apart from this, those having Ujjwala gas connection will get free cylinder.

Mohan Yadav government of Madhya Pradesh has given many gifts to the people. This time, women taking advantage of Ladli Behan Yojana will get a subsidy of Rs 398 on gas cylinder. This time, salaries have already been paid to the employees in the state.

Andhra Pradesh government and Uttarakhand government have also announced to provide free cylinders before Diwali to the beneficiaries taking benefits under the Ujjwala scheme.

On the festivals of Diwali and Chhath, people do not get trains to go to Bihar. In such a situation, now Railways is making rounds of 7000 trains.
