Internet service restored
In the morning, District Information Officer Brijesh Kumar said, “Internet services were restored in Sambhal at 4 pm on Friday.” The move to restore internet came hours after Friday prayers were offered peacefully at Shahi Jama Masjid and other places in the district. There was violence in this district after the survey of the Mughal era mosque.
Before the Namaz, the district officials had appealed to the residents to offer Namaz in nearby mosques instead of gathering at Jama Masjid. Along with this, additional CCTV cameras were installed to keep an eye on the situation.
