After the overthrow of Bashar-al-Assad in Syria, the biggest question is who will rule Syria now. Will Abu Mohammad Al Julani, the leader of the rebel organization Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, i.e. HTS, under whose leadership this entire coup took place, now be the new ruler of Syria? Or Syria will now be ruled by Israel, for which it was waiting for a long time. Or Syria will break into many parts and each part of it will be occupied by different countries of the world. After all, what is the future of Syria now, let’s talk in detail.
Ending Bashar al-Assad’s 24-year rule in Syria was never easy for Hayat Tahrir al-Sham. This extremist organization waited a long time for this coup. Waiting for Assad and his army to become weak. Waiting for Russia to get embroiled in a war with Ukraine and not be able to help Assad. The expectation is that Iran, Hamas and Hezbollah remain embroiled in a war with Israel and they are unable to help Syria. And when it was decided that neither Russia nor Iran would be able to come forward to help Syria, Hayat Tahrir al-Sham’s leader Abu Mohammad al-Julani showed his strength and within 15 days he overthrew Assad. Forced to flee to Russia.
Now according to this, the natural claimant to power in Syria is Abu Mohammad Al Julani, who overthrew Assad’s regime. But this is not so easy for Abu Mohammad Al Julani, because apart from Turkey, Israel and America have also joined the race to capture Syria. After the end of the Assad regime, America has dropped 140 bombs in Syria. Although America claims that it has carried out these attacks on the targets of Syria’s most dangerous terrorist organization ISIS, but America’s intentions are clearly visible through the attack. It has sent its own army, which has captured about 10 kilometers of Golan Heights. Apart from this, like America, Israel has also carried out more than 100 air strikes in different parts of Syria, but Israel has given another argument for this attack. Israel claims that Bashar-al-Assad had made chemical weapons in his time and now that Syria is occupied by rebels, these chemical weapons may fall into wrong hands, hence Israel is carrying out air strikes to eliminate them. . That means Israel has also expressed its intention.
Hayat Tahrir al-Sham has the direct support of Turkey. So instead of directly intervening, Turkey is dreaming of occupying Syria through HTS and Abu Mohammad Al Julani. In such a situation, at least Syria seems to be divided into three parts, the largest part of which is occupied by HTS with the support of Türkiye. The second large part is with the Syrian Democratic Forces, which is supported by America, and the third part is the Golan Heights, which is occupied by Israel. The rest of the areas which are occupied by the Syrian National Army, should be considered as Turkey’s occupation because this force has been formed with the support of Turkey. However, apart from this there is also ISIS, which has retained its control over some areas of central Syria. In such a situation, it is not yet decided who will finally take control of Syria and who will rule it. Because now the future of Syria has to be decided not by the Syrian people but by America, Israel and Turkey. But if Russia interferes then the whole story can change. In such a situation, it is too early to say anything about the future of Syria.
