Judge Mohammad Saiful Islam of the Metropolitan Sessions Court in Chittagong, Bangladesh, on Thursday (December 12, 2024) asked senior High Court lawyer Ravindra Ghosh to find a lawyer from Chittagong in the case, who will appear on behalf of former ISKCON leader Chinmoy Krishna Das. Chinmay Krishna Das’s lawyer Ravindra Ghosh said yesterday (December 11, 2024), “The court has today accepted that it will hear my (Chinmay Krishna Das’s) case. I have come here to assist Chinmay’s lawyers. They are afraid to come here due to security reasons, but we are hopeful that something good will happen. Nowadays the atmosphere in the court has become much better than yesterday.

According to the Daily Star report, a senior lawyer of the High Court told the Daily Star, “On Wednesday, the court did not listen to me because of other lawyers because I did not have the power of attorney. I got the power of attorney from Chinmay Das from the jail and submitted it. The court has accepted the extension of bail hearing and has asked me to take a local lawyer with me, Sumit Acharya. Are.” During this, Ravindra Ghosh was seen with several police teams providing security.
