Engineer Atul Subhash had committed suicide about a week ago, accusing his wife Nikita and his family members of harassment. Many files have mysteriously disappeared from the Google Drive link shared by 34-year-old Atul before his death. The missing files include his 24-page suicide note and a letter titled ‘To Milords’, in which the justice system was criticized.
Although law enforcement agencies have not yet responded to this matter, many social media users have alleged a cover-up in this matter. Allegations have also been raised that some other files in the drive still exist. Such as a poem named ‘Death Knows No Fear’, a letter addressed to the President and a declaration in which Atul had said that he is ‘innocent’ of the allegations made by Nikita.
Questions on police and Google
Some social media users have alleged that these files were removed from Google and those files have been shared again on public forums. There has been no response from the police and Google on this matter.
Atul Subhash’s body was found from his Bengaluru home on Monday (December 9) and a long note was found there, in which ‘right to justice’ was written. He had shared this note and many other things on Google Drive before his death. Along with this, an 80-minute video was also recorded, in which he mentioned his experiences of a long legal struggle.
charges of contempt and harassment
Atul had accused his wife Nikita, his mother Nisha Singhania, brother Anurag Singhania and uncle Sushil Singhania of harassment and exploitation. He said that Nikita had leveled false allegations against him and his family and had demanded a huge sum of ₹ 3 crore from him. Along with this, he used his four year old son to threaten him.
Atul’s family’s question, what happened to his son?
After Atul’s death, his brother Bikash Kumar has filed a case of abetment to suicide. Nikita, her mother Nisha and brother Anurag have been arrested, while her uncle Sushil is still absconding. The accused were produced in the court and sent to judicial custody for two weeks. Now Atul’s family has raised the question as to what happened to their son and whether he should be handed over to them.
